The waist and body are 95% polyester and 5% elastane scuba fabric; the fringe is sewn one by one onto this solid base. Scuba’s shaping hold wraps the waist without slipping, carries the weight of the fringe and keeps the skirt’s form even in heavy use. The fringe is placed so the tips stay free while the seam line stays fixed; the sway is preserved as durability increases.

The fringe layer does not make the body look different from what it is; the pattern itself sits at the waist and does not shift during turns.
