The Panelled Grosgrain Skirt is a panelled grosgrain skirt whose body is made from the joining of more than one panel. The panels widen toward the hem, giving the fabric a graduated volume; the grosgrain band at the hem keeps this volume open through the turn.
Panelled Grosgrain Skirt: Design & Highlights
The logic of the panelled cut is simple: a one-piece body falls plain, while a body built from panels adds layers to the movement. Each panel follows its own line in a turn; the sway at the hem grows richer and the figure looks fuller to the viewer. Black is the most readable ground for this geometry; the line shows itself without needing ornament. For a child working the skirt in a latin class the panelled form is instructive too: the power of a hip movement gives instant feedback from the opening at the hem. The grosgrain band does not let the form fall apart; the skirt gathers at the end of every figure. In competition preparation this cut offers a working ground close to the behaviour of a costume skirt; the child comes out used to the stage day.
Fabric & Material
The panels are cut from a 95% polyester, 5% elastane scuba; the firm weave keeps the panel lines marked. The grosgrain strip running around the hem is not fabric but a support element: it carries the volume and enlarges the turn effect. The seams at the panel joins work with the stretch; the joins do not pull when the fabric is stretched. The seams are set with a busy class tempo in mind.

The panelled grosgrain skirt is offered in six sizes in the XS-XXL range; production stays tied to our size chart. Our child model wears a size S. As the height grows only the size changes; the panel proportion gives the same look at every measure. In the panelled form the sense of size does not change; the waist value on the chart is enough for the choice.

Wash at a maximum of 30°C, inside out and with similar colors; cold water is preferred. Do not use bleach or fabric softener; choose a mild or liquid detergent and spin at low speed. Do not tumble dry; dry flat in the shade and keep the garment's shape. Avoid ironing; if necessary, iron inside out at a very low temperature or with steam.

Within Türkiye we ship through Navlungo, with the carrier named in your tracking e-mail; internationally we ship with DHL Express. Shipping is free on orders over ₺3,000 within Türkiye, and over €100 internationally. The amount you pay with store credit or a price-difference voucher also counts towards this threshold.
Your tracking number is e-mailed to you the moment your order ships. Below those amounts the shipping cost is shown clearly at the payment step, so there are no surprises when you order.
International orders: customs duty and import charges are not included in the shipping cost; the buyer pays them on delivery. Transit time may be extended by customs procedures.
On delivery: check your parcel in the presence of the courier. Do not accept a damaged or opened parcel without having a report drawn up.
