The Classic Grosgrain Skirt is a grosgrain dance skirt that keeps its form open in turns with a grosgrain band worked into the hem. Grosgrain is not a fabric but a special band strip reinforcing the hem; added to the scuba body, the skirt gains volume and every turn leaves a marked trace.

In latin training the skirt is not just clothing but the visible form of the technique: the speed and cleanness of a turn read from the hem. The classic model is the plain starting point of the grosgrain family; the body is cut plain and the hem’s grosgrain band takes on the effect. The band, supporting the hem slightly, keeps the form from closing during a turn; when the movement ends the skirt gathers in a clean line. In the class mirror the technique is thus clearly followed; in the competition-preparation period the child gets used early to real costume behaviour. The burgundy and black options split the same pattern into two separate stage characters.
Fabric & Material
The grosgrain dance skirt body is a 95% polyester, 5% elastane stretchy scuba; its firm hold carries the skirt’s drape. The grosgrain band at the hem is not counted as fabric; it is a strip that gives the form strength, increasing the volume and the turn effect. This dual structure does not lose its shape at a busy class tempo.

The grosgrain dance skirt is sewn in six sizes from XS to XXL; our size chart is the basis in the choice. Our child model wears a size S. In the grosgrain form the waist fit is decisive; compare the waist row on the chart with the current measurement.

Wash at a maximum of 30°C, inside out and with similar colors; cold water is preferred. Do not use bleach or fabric softener; choose a mild or liquid detergent and spin at low speed. Do not tumble dry; dry flat in the shade and keep the garment's shape. Avoid ironing; if necessary, iron inside out at a very low temperature or with steam.

Within Türkiye we ship through Navlungo, with the carrier named in your tracking e-mail; internationally we ship with DHL Express. Shipping is free on orders over ₺3,000 within Türkiye, and over €100 internationally. The amount you pay with store credit or a price-difference voucher also counts towards this threshold.
Your tracking number is e-mailed to you the moment your order ships. Below those amounts the shipping cost is shown clearly at the payment step, so there are no surprises when you order.
International orders: customs duty and import charges are not included in the shipping cost; the buyer pays them on delivery. Transit time may be extended by customs procedures.
On delivery: check your parcel in the presence of the courier. Do not accept a damaged or opened parcel without having a report drawn up.
Returns and exchanges: return shipping is free, and exchanges with no price difference ship free both ways. Details are on the Cancellation and Returns page.
On bulk orders, the discount rate rises as the quantity increases.
