Estella’s pattern was drawn in a dance workshop; the freedom of movement unusual in evening wear comes from there. Because the arms and shoulders are calculated to a dance figure, hours on the floor do not tire the blouse. The sequins are set small and dense; the reflection spreads evenly across the body instead of bursting at one point and leaves a textured shine in photos. On stage it is the top piece of Latin and Caribbean programs; at a party it settles into the centre of the night over a plain bottom. It comes from the same family as the Estella Sequined Crop; the blouse suits those seeking a covered top, the crop those wanting to open the waistline.

Fabric & Material

The Estella sequined evening blouse surface has 92% polyester sequin embroidery, its base lycra tulle with 8% elastane. Because the sequins are embroidered onto thin tulle the blouse is lighter than expected; the stretch comes from the base and the sequin layout does not distort under tension. The shine is the fabric’s own character and needs no addition.

The sequined evening blouse is sewn in S, M and L; the cut follows our size chart exactly. Our model wears a size S. On fitted top patterns the bust line is decisive; stay true to the chart, remembering that sequins emphasise the silhouette.
